Some problems arising from the detention of persons suspected in illegal drug trafficking

Purpose: To study the problems arising from the detention of persons suspected in illegal drug trafficking. Methodology: Legalistic method and method of analyzing criminal cases were used. Results: The article describes the situations related to the procedural processing of the detention of suspects in accordance with Art. 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in cases of illegal trafficking of drugs. The authors note the violations that occur during the course of the detention and personal search. Examples of judicial practice are given. Novelty/originality/value: The paper has a high scientific value and carries significant practical significance. The provisions contained in the paper can be used to improve the current criminal procedure legislation of Russia.
