The results of experimental and traceological investigations of petrogliphs (on the materials of Tomskaya pisanitsa)

At the present stage the new method of technological studying of petroglyphs is in the course of active development. This paper recounts the periods of formation of the experimental and traceological methods of studying rock art and describes the principal approaches to investigations of technological aspect in rock art. The specificity of the author's approach is in the interpretation of technology of making petroglyphs as one of the indicators of their cultural and chronological belonging. Some methodological characteristics and any results of experimental and traceological investigations of petroglyphs of Tomskaya Pisanitsa are expounded in this paper too.
