Some socio-ontological aspects of the cognitive-evolutionary approach

The article considers a number of promising directions of the cognitive-evolutionary models and metaphors application in social and philosophical knowledge, we have proposed a cybernetic model of social ontology and the related heuristic stratification of cognitive evolution. The vectors of their further detailed elaboration in the study of social and philosophical problems are indicated. We present the heuristic stratification elements of cognitive evolution as a system of interconnected categories. The metaphor of a structural model of computational process similar to ontological assumptions of “digital philosophy” (a comparison of the most important phenomena of cognitive evolution with the elements of computer systems architecture) is used as a framework of this system. Such an approach can be also applied to investigation of the internal structure of these phenomena. Socio-ontological categories are deduced as a reflection of the moments of previous cognitive evolution. Attention is also drawn to the possible negative consequences of hypostatizing these categories.
