Some theoretical aspects of socio-economic formations

This article analyzes the Islamic economy belonging to the traditional socio-economic formations. However, the research shows that every economic model has its own characteristics, which cannot be attributed to the traditional classification. The paper presents the views of scientists, reflecting different opinions on the qualitative content of the Islamic economy conception. The author draws parallels between the socialist and the capitalist typical features peculiar for an alternative economic system.
