Certain issues of pre-investigation involving juveniles

Introduction: the author notes the need for legislative measures on legal regulation of issues of participation of legal representatives, defender of juvenile offender and juvenile victim at the stage of verification of the statement or report of a crime. Materials and Methods: generalization of investigative practice, analytical, legal, logical, comparative-legal methods. Results: the absence of legislative regulation of the issues of participation in the stage of verification of applications and reports of crimes committed by or against minors, their legal representatives and defenders was revealed. Discussion and Conclusions: the need to introduce norms on mandatory involvement of legal representatives and defenders at the stage of verification of applications and reports of crimes with the participation of minors in criminal proceedings is justified.
