Some issues of using modern technologies in law enforcement and crime prevention

The article is devoted to the study of the issues of the use of modern technical means in law enforcement and crime prevention. The use of technology in law enforcement and crime prevention is rapidly developing, the use of drones and biometrics, as well as special technical means for crime prevention, is considered. Several significant examples of the use of preventive measures of a technical nature in modern criminology are considered: the use of drones / quadrocopters / unmanned aerial vehicles; application of the 3D modeling method; use of VR technologies (virtual reality systems); using machine learning to track public posts with socially dangerous content on social networks; use of face recognition technology. At the present stage of social development, scientific and technological progress affects all spheres of human activity. And also on criminology, where new achievements of developing technology and science are being integrated. Law enforcement has always been the first to apply technology. All this helps to maintain the safety of all members of society and society as a whole.
