Some organizational issues of scientific work in Chechnya in 1920-1940

This article discusses the problems of formation and development of science and scientific institutions in Chechnya in 1920-1940. During this period, it has been done an intensive work on creation of the scientific research base in the republic. A great contribution to the science development of the investigated region was made by the Russian scientists who among other things participated in the field research of Chechnya. This article listed and described the major scientific institutions created in the first years of the Soviet Chechnya (Grozny Petroleum Research Institute, Chechen-Ingush Research Institute, etc.).
