Some issues of terminating legal status of convicted in legislation

The article draws attention to the issues of changing the legal status of convicted persons when non-served part of the sentence is replaced by a mitigated type of punishment or by applying a parole sentence. Inaccuracies in Art. 172 of the Correctional Code and Art. 79 of the Criminal Code are identified, and proposals for their improvement are supposed.
