Illegal migration - a destabilizing factor for the European Union

The article is devoted to changes in EU migration policy, and Germany in particular, over the past few years. It is shown how the situation has changed with the illegal migration from the beginning of the Syrian conflict and the worsening economic situation in North Africa and the Middle East. The problems of changing attitudes in society and political structures on the basic principles of migration policy in response to the emergency situation and the deterioration of the migration as a consequence of the crime rise and the threat of terrorist attacks have been considered.
