Non-violent change of political regimes as a phenomenon of the information society

The paper studies the phenomenon of “colour revolutions” as a mechanism of change of the political regime, retraces the history and origin of the term and phenomenon. The author carries out a detailed analysis of the possible causes of the colour revolutions, among which there is a deep crisis of new independent states, destabilization of the economic situation in the country caused by the poverty of population masses, overall absence of the middle class, intervention of the world superpowers.
