The necessity of application of electrical technologies to ensure microclimate parameters of bee colonies

Бесплатный доступ

The possibility of use of bee's cloud as a study model for studying of thermal regulation of the opened biological systems is demonstrated. The simulation of the thermal in-hive conditions could be carried out with the help of professional software Ansys Multyphysics, in the environment COMSOL. The analysis of thermal processes carried out by different research teams shows that the local electrical heating process is needed. For example, it is reasonable to install double-ozone heaters: under accumulation of bees (to warm up air) and at the sides (to warm up the feed), which is extremely important at the season of spring brood. For honey-bee colonies located in regions of the North Caucasus it is recommended to ventilate the in-hive environment in order to eliminate the moisture out of the hives.
