Necessity of maintenance of forest ecosystems in the Kur river basin (Khabarovsk territory)

The Kur river basin needs a conservation status, in order to conserve natural resources, as well as biological and landscape diversity, including the Red Book rare and endangered plant species. It is important to maintain the integrity of ecological corridors ensuring the biodiversity exchange between the two entities - the Khabarovsk Territory and Jewish autonomous region. The botanical phenomenon of the Pentactina genus relict shrub, found by the biologists in spruce canopy of the Kur river basin, should be saved for the Far East.
