This article is devoted to the consideration of one of the most notorious neo-pagan historical myths - «The Myth of Vladimir I». These narrative sources, the hypothesizes of scientists at the different times seeking the genealogy of Vladimir Svyatoslavovitch allow critically to the approval of ideologues «religious traditionalism» (V.N. Emel'yanov, A.A. Dobrovolsky, etc.) on the Semitic roots of the Great Prince of Kiev. Portfolio of S.A. Gedeonova, N.M. Tupikov, and others, who investigated a series of close relatives of Vladimir (Mala, Malushi, Dobrynya) are valid proof of Slavic origin Kiev Great dynasty.
