Continuous casting and rolling methods in the manufacture of contact wire for railway transport

Results of the patent and literary review of continuous methods of casting and rolling are given in production of a contact wire for railway transport. Including options of vertical, horizontal, inclined casting and a fusion pulling are analyzed. Calibrations of tools for deformation of preparations from the copper alloys intended for production of a contact wire are considered. Methods of increase of operational properties, including creations of thermally strengthened alloys of copper and ways of their processing are revealed.
