Nervous anorexia on the background of chronic disease

The author described two patients with anorexia nervosa in the cachectic stage. In both patients, the disease was provoked by personal and family factors, proceeded with severe depressive syndrome, cachexia, amenorrhea, functional hypercriticisms. The peculiarity of patient V. (No. 1) was the development of anorexia nervosa against the background of type I diabetes mellitus, the lack of fixation on maintaining low weight. In patient M. (No. 2), the disease developed on chronic gastroenterological pathology. The patient is fixed on maintaining a low body weight, often provokes vomiting. 2 years after the described clinical situation, the patient died of bilateral pneumonia.
