Irregularity of oral hygiene as a risk factor of hypertrophic gingivitis during the period of pregnancy

The article addresses the results of the social research of the significance of the hygiene non-observance for the mouth cavity as a risk factor of the hypertrophic gingivitis among pregnant women in terms of Samara region. It demonstrates that within the pregnancy period the violation of hygiene guidelines and rules causes a greater risk of the hypertrophic gingivitis than that for non-pregnant women.
