Illicit trafficking in new potentially dangerous psychoactive substances: the controversy of “personal” criminalization and some application problems of Article 234.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation

The paper deals with the problems of applying Article 234.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illicit trafficking in new potentially dangerous psychoactive substances” that are mostly related to defining the target of a crime in the abovementioned article. The authors express doubts about the validity of “personal” criminalization of illicit trafficking in new potentially dangerous psychoactive substances.
