N.M. Karamzin and his contribution to the conservative renewal of Russia

The article analyzes the patriotic role of N.M. Karamzin in the social and political modernization of Russia in 1811-1815 and in the confirmation of the new doctrine of Orthodox absolutism, which allowed strengthening state unity of Russia and delaying catastrophic events of revolutionary changes.
