The article focuses the issues of normative-legal regulation of combating the financing of extremist activities and terrorism in the Russian Federation. Close attention is paid to the analysis of legislative innovations in the discussed sphere of legal regulation, the most complex issues that should be addressed by improving the legislation in the study area in order to ensure national security. The paper also considers international legal institutions and their possible impact on the normative-legal regulation in the Russian Federation.
