The article provides an overview of the modern legal foundations for the formation of a sense of responsibility among Russian civil servants for the results of professional official activity. The author has studied a set of norms related to this range of issues and contained in federal laws, decrees of the President of the Russian Federation, administrative and official regulations and other acts of Russian legislation. The author concludes about the comprehensive regulation of the professional performance of civil servants as the basis for the formation of their sense of responsibility for the results of work.
