Regulatory and legal framework for countering drug and alcoholization of the young generation

The article discusses the legal framework governing the sphere of circulation and consumption of psychoactive, narcotic substances and alcohol among young people. The international fundamental legal frameworks were considered: the unified Convention on Narcotic Drugs, the Convention on Psychotropic Substances, and the Convention against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances. The main legal acts regulating activities for the prevention of the use of psychoactive substances in Russia have been determined. Presents measures for the prevention of the use of psychoactive substances among young people, implemented in the Republic of Bashkortostan. It was determined that, despite the measures taken by the state and society, it seems impossible to eradicate the problem of using psychoactive substances.
