New book on radiation troubles of the Urals (review of: V. S. Tolstikov, V. N. Kuznetsov “Radiacionnoe nasledie na Urale: istoricheskie ocenki i dokumenty” [Radiation heritage in the Urals: historical assessments and documents]

The book, based on a wide range of previously unpublished documents and memories about production activities of “Mayak” (Chelyabinsk-40) and technogenic accident of 1957, shows imple mentation of measures to liquidate radiation contamination of the territories.
