New find of Sarcosoma globosum (Schmidel) Casp. on the territory of the Kostroma region

During the spring field season of 2024 in the Kostroma district of the Kostroma region, in the vicinity of the village of Astashevo, during a survey of the spruce forest, fruiting bodies of Sarcosoma globosum (Schmidel) Casp. were discovered, this species is included in the Order of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation dated May 23, 2023 No. 320 «On approval of the list of flora objects included in the Red Book of the Russian Federation» under category 3 and in the Red Book of the Kostroma region (2019) under category 2.
