A new trend in the development of additional services in recreation and wellness organizations for children

The article states the fact of insufficient financing of budgetary children’s year-round camps, which stimulates the commercialization of children’s recreation and recreation. In such conditions, the camps are forced to look for new ways to earn money. One of the problems is the lack of the necessary knowledge in the field of economics, marketing and management from the camp management, which does not allow them to implement the correct pricing and advertising policy. The purpose of this work is to analyze the external and internal environment of one of the children’s educational and wellness centers of the Nizhny Novgorod region and develop, based on the data obtained, a strategy for diversifying its activities, taking into account new challenges, which allows it to successfully compete in the children’s recreation market in difficult constantly changing conditions. The results of the introduction of a new strategy, which is based on the design of the institution’s activities in free time from vacation shifts, are presented. A new trend has been identified: the provision of additional services for a new segment of consumers - teachers, parents on the basis of children’s camps during extracurricular time. The described methodology and the results of the study can be used.
