This paper is devoted to the civil law novels regulating the assignment of claims and the transfer of an obligation. The author discusses the amendments covering the amount of transferred rights of a creditor (cession of partial interest), the notification of a debtor about the assignment of claims, the cession of prospective claim, the modes of the obligation transfer.
