The new legal regulations of additional paid leave of certain categories of workers

The analysis of the existing labor legislation in the provision of additional leave to workers revealed gaps in the legal regulation, lack of systematic approaches and criteria for differentiation. The author considers the normative legal acts to determine the conditions and procedures for providing additional paid leaves for various reasons; separately are investigated new normative legal acts regulating the provision of additional leaves to persons applying for academic degree as well as to staff members of diplomatic agencies. Proposals are made for improving the legislation.
