Innovations in the functioning of the bank of Russia''S payment system as the element of the national payment system

Systemically important payment systems by providing a significant share of the overall cashless money turnover and being a key element of the whole financial market infrastructure, play a fundamental role in the functioning of different market economies of the vast number of countries. Payment system of the Central Bank of Russian Federation is the fundamental component of the Russian national payment system, through which the vast number of payment transactions is being carried out and which is being modernized on a permament basis. The actual article is devoted to showing the role of payment system of the Central Bank of Russian Federation in the national payment system, studying the most significant innovations in the whole field of its operational facility, and separately in the actual article is given the assessment of realization of the project on creation of financial messages transmission system by the Bank of Russia.
