New Archive Materials for the Biography of Ven. Irenarchus the Recluse of Rostov and the History of Borisoglebsky-na-Ustje Monastery The article represents an acquaintance with the facts of Ven. Irenarchus the Recluse’s life and miracles (1548–1616), the written sources of which were not published earlier. It gives an illustration of some of the saint’s miracles which favored his popularity among the people. The extracts of the unpublished hagiography as well as the fragments of the service to St. Irenarchus are put in the appendix.
