New data on archaeological sites in ancient Khwarezm based on satellite image interpretation

The publication provides brief description of the information obtained as a result of analytical work comparing the existing archeological plans of the Yakke-Parsan channel and the Gavkhore channel with satellite images of these territories. This study makes it possible clarify earlier published results regarding the archaeological objects that had not survived. And more importantly, it became possible to identify archaeological objects that were not discovered by the Khwārezm archaeological and ethnographic expedition. The paper also demonstrates resolution capability of satellite images for solving archaeological tasks.
