In 2014 the archaeological research of Denisova Cave was continued in the entrance area of the eastern gallery and aimed at studying the upper level of the Pleistocene soft sediment represented by the lithological layers 9 and 11. Lithic industry from the layer 9 correlated with the Upper Paleolithic Final Stage. Archaeological materials of Initial Upper Paleolithic were discovered within a layer 11. The feature of the lithic industry is a combination of tool types which were marked by both oh Upper and Middle Paleolithic. The ornaments made of bones and animals teeth and ostrich egg shell conduct to the collection of lithic artifacts.
