New floristic records in the Middle Volga region

In this article, a number of vascular plant taxa new to floras of three regions of the Middle Volga Region (European Russia) are briefly reported. For the first time, three species and one hybrid of vascular plants were found in the Penza region: native Betula krylovii G.V. Krylov, Hieracium filifolium Üksip, Pilosella × bifurca (M. Bieb.) F.W. Schultz et Sch. Bip. and alien Marrubium leonuroides Desr. Two native hybrids ( Potamogeton × olivaceus Baagøe ex G. Fisch. and Salvia nutans L. × S. stepposa Des.-Shost.) and alien Rumex patientia L. are new for the flora of the Samara region. Four species ( Dactylis polygama Horv., Potentilla collina Wibel, Taraxacum falcatum Brenner, Thesium moesiacum Velen.) and one hybrid ( Galium × affrenum (Klokov) Ostapko), all natives, are recorded in the Ulyanovsk region for the first time.
