The article examines the activities of law enforcement agencies aimed at preventing fraudulent actions. Attention is paid to the retrospective analysis of these criminal acts. The criminological characteristics of fraud and related crimes are presented. Special emphasis is placed on preventing the activities of destructive organizations (financial pyramids, false trainings, Internet fraud).
