New cities in Siberia (the 1950-1980-s)

The purpose and the task of the research were studying the problems connected with the development of new cities in Siberian Region which were located, as a rule, in the areas of new industrial development. These social problems in historical science and historiography were always considered to be actual. In the study various sources, including archival funds which were not published earlier anywhere were used. In the study both general and scientific, and special historical methods and approaches were used. In was shown there that the development of Siberia was controlled by the state for providing high extent of industrialization of the country. Industrial development of Siberia in the 1950-1980-s was carried out only with participation of the state which worked with generally mobilization methods.
