The new books from a series «Militaria antiqua»

Is given information about the new popular science books, released by publishing house «Peterburgskoe vostokovedenie» in a series of Militaria Antiqua in 2005-2007 yr. In the book V. A. Vetyukov, dedicated to the military tradition of medieval Vietnam, are given the results of investigating of armament, structure of military organization and military traditions of medieval Vietnamese. Are examined different aspects of the attitude of Vietnamese soldiers toward traditional silent weapon, to uniform, to fortifications and to military skill. The basic directions of influence on military science of Vietnamese from the side of Chinese and Europeans are analyzed. In the book A. E. Musina about the military culture of the Russian middle ages are examined the special feature of the ideas of Old-Russian population about the war in the aspect of Christian religious ideology. In the book Yu. A. Vinogradov are analyzed the events of the military history of Ol'viya from the time of base to the destruction of this Ancient Greek city in the Black Sea area. Book P. V. Shuvalov is dedicated to a study of Byzantine army into emperor Justinian's administration. In the book Yu. S. Khudyakov are given the results of investigating military science of ancient Turks.
