New organizational structures of "new" intelligentsia of the Urals in 1920s

This article analyzes a wide range of guestions which hove to do with the history of establishment of a "new" provincial intelligentsia phenomenon. Particular attention is paid to relations between the intelligentsia and the party and soviet burocracy in the Urals in 1920- 1930 s. The role of new creative unions and trade unions in life of intelligentsia in that period is reveated. The contribution of some intelligentsia of the Urals into development of science, art and culture of the region in highlighted.
