The article presents the results of experiments obtained under the illumination (irradiation) of green fodder from barley seeds and wheat, with energy-efficient, economical, environmentally-friendly multi-colored LED light fitting. In 1876, the Russian scientist K.A. Timiriazev described the cultivation of plants by the hydroponic method and predicted the possibility of its production use. In 1910, the Russian scientist A.V. Artsikhovsky proposed two original installations: in the first plant roots were in the medium of air and periodically sprayed with an aqueous mineral solution containing nutrients, the second laid down the principle of feeding and collecting nutrient solution through pipelines. The aim of the research is to study the effect of UV radiation on the germination of grain crops and the radiation of the photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) zone on the growth and development of green plants grown from seeds irradiated with UV radiation in hydroponic plants. In our experiments, the seeds before sowing were treated with radiation from ultraviolet A-zone LEDs (UV-A). It was adopted that UFO seeds had a positive impact on germination and increased it by 6 ... 8%. The power of the UV emitter was 2 watts.Analysis of the experiments showed that for wheat plants grown from seeds treated with UV radiation, the irradiation time can be recommended from 33 to 45 minutes. For barley seeds, the best dose of ultraviolet irradiation could not be determined when exposed to UV radiation from 33 to 45 minutes. The average plant mass continues to grow. The power of the phytotherapy equipment was 60 watts.Experiments on the irradiation of seeds with UV radiation and subsequent cultivation from their green plants in a specially designed plant set show new approaches to the cultivation of green plants in hydroponic plants. The use of LEDs saves electrical energy by 40..50% compared with fluorescent lamps [15, 16]; The installation is electrically safe, since it operates at a voltage of 12 V and is environmentally friendly, since it does not contain mercury. Its approximate cost of the UV installation was approximately 2000 rubles, the photoconditioners were about 4,500 rubles, the payback period of the latter was about 3 years.
