The article considers the issue of finding new areas for recruiting new specialists in the field of ethnopolitical conflicts, as well as new places for professional development and obtaining new skills and educational services. The authors examine the issue of interaction between informational and non-formal educational institutions and classical academic educational institutions. They propose to consider the role of civil society institutions in close contact with state bodies as non-standard places of professional development, acquisition of competencies, skills, depth and specifics of knowledge of the problem for experts and specialists in the field of ethno-confessional conflicts. In particular, they consider religious theological schools (including those with state accreditation or certification), non-profit public organizations or autonomous non-profit organizations, as well as mass media and some other forms capable of providing educational services or educational activities as such institutions.
