New standards - new content and technology of teaching mathematics to the future teacher: problems and prospects

The article formulates and discusses the problems of formation of mathematical competences of students in the process of their studying systematic courses of mathematics in high schools caused by the mismatch between the requirements to the results of training of students from the standpoint of the competence approach to the structure of the core educational program that was specified by FSES of HVE in the field of teacher education. The article also introduces the concept of polycontextual mathematical educational module and develops the author’s concept of the solution of the highlighted problem based on such modules. The experience of creation and implementation of polycontextual educational module «Profile Study» directed to the formation of mathematical competences of students - future teachers of mathematics is presented.
