The Corticioid fungi (Corticiaceae s.l., Basidiomycota) play an important role in forest ecosystems as wood destroyers. The Corticioid fungi are not yet sufficiently studied in the Russian Far East. This fungi group largest number has been found and researched in the Bolshekhekhtsirsky reserve of the Khabarovsk territory and in some reserves of the Primorsky territory. It is very important to investigate the fungal biodiversity and its influence on the Far Eastern forests. Our studies of fungi in the Bastack nature reserve, which is in the Jewish Autonomous Region, have resulted in the determination of 59 corticioid fungi species, 51 of them new to the region, and 7 - to the Russian Far East. The Cristinia rhenana species is new to Russia. Most of these species (88%) grow on dead wood.
