Resume:This paper examines the relationship of the human papillomavirus and its role in the development of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cervical cancer. The data on the most informative diagnostic methods (immunohistochemical, molecular genetic, etc.) and treatment of HPV-associated lesions of the cervix are presented.
