“The New Perspectives on Paul”: Critical Analysis of Contemporary Western Approaches in the Studies of the Apostle Paul’s Epistles The article presents one of the possible variants of accepting creatively the achievements of Western Biblical Studies by exemplifying the critical analysis of the main contemporary trends in the study of Paul’s Epistles. It considers the key issues and problems of studying the legacy of the gentiles’ apostle at the present stage, and outlines the basic contours of the future development of the methodological paradigms of the Russian Orthodox Biblical Studies.
