A new report to the roman club for the 50th anniversary of its foundation: pluses and minuses

The article analyzes a new report to the Roman Club for its 50th anniversary. The report represents a combination of the reviews of some new ideas and appeals within the frames of its basic viewpoints, such as short-sighted capitalism in crisis, overpopulation, overconsumption of the rich, and the destruction of the planet. It seems that in spite of appeals of the authors of the report to a bold new beginning, the technocratic overtone dominates in its text.
