The authors of the article conducted the long-term excavations of the Kipchakovsky archaeological complex (the ancient settlement and burial ground). It led them to the question when the territory between the rivers Syun and Belaya (which was a kernel of formation of pyanoborskaya culture) was settled. They initiated the search of the unknown sites of pyanoborskaya culture in the region. The archaeological survey in the vicinity of one of the largest ancient settlements of pyanoborskaya culture allowed revealing a newly discovered soil funeral complex on Syun river which was named “Kipchakovsky II burial ground”. The analysis of finds and artifacts of the revealed necropolis allowed attributing it to the first stage of development of pyanoborskaya culture. The subsequent study will allow the authors defining the time of its existence more accurately. The archaeological survey in the area between the rivers Syun and Belaya is not yet finished, the authors undertake the search of settlement materials on the banks of the small rivers and streams in this territory which have not been yet explored by archeologists.
