The methods of creation are described, the distinctive features and properties of a new variety of hard wheat of the Samara Research Scientific Institute of Agriculture- “Bezenchuk krepost”, approved (recommended) by the State Commission for Testing and Preservation of Selection Achievements of the Russian Federation for economic use in the 9th region of Russia are described. Realized productivity of a new variety in Orel region in 2014. (experimental site of scientific research institute of leguminous and grouts crops) was 5.58 t / ha, which is 1.40 t / ha higher than the standard. The parameters of the stability of the productivity of the Bezenchuk krepost, determined in the interstate tests of a group of genotypes, including commercial cultivar and selection lines of different breeding stages, according to the method of A.V. Kilchevsky, L.V. Khotyleva [1], showed a high level of general adaptability, stability and selection value genotype of a new cultivar. The strong resistance to leaf spots (Fusarium sp., Alternaria spp., Pyrenophora tritici-repentis) and the high quality of grain and pasta were the clearly expressed properties of the Bezenchuk krepost, which were manifested in numerous tests. Especially noticeably the cultivar is distinguished by the content of carotenoid pigments in the grain. By this sign, the new cultivar is second only to Bezenchuk zolotistaya. In the system of state cultivars testing, the properties of the new cultivar were especially bright in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The average yield of new grade grain in this republic was 2.56 t / ha, which is higher by 0.35 t / ha than the standard. The maximum yield is 5.17 t / ha, also received in Bashkortostan in 2015. The cultivar belongs to the mid-ripening group. According to the state committee on resistance to lodging and drought, the cultivar is at the level of the standard, on an infectious background it showed resistance to brown rust and hard smut, a moderate susceptibility to a dusty smut, and was slightly amazed by powdery mildew in the field. Pasta quality according to the central laboratory of the state commission is good.
