A new soybean variety Yuzhanka for conditions of unstable moistening of forest-steppe of Samara Trans-Volga region

In the FGBNU "Povolzhsky NIISS" was created new high-yielding soybean variety Yuzhanka, adapted to contrasting climatic conditions of forest-steppe of the Samara Trans-Volga region. In 2018, the variety Yuzhanka was included in the state register of breeding achievements of the Russian Federation in the middle Volga region. According to the classifier of the genus CLYCINE, the Yuzhanka soybean cultivar belongs to the precocious group with a growing period of 91 to 103 days. In the competitive variety testing (2012-2017) grain yield averaged 17.3 t/ha, which is 3.3 t/ha higher than the standard. On average, over the years of study, a new variety of southerner provided protein yield per hectare at 564,7 kg, fat-467,0 kg.
