The article deals with the barrier of mental adaptation, which plays an important role in the training process of shooters from combat weapons, the ability of athletes to self - analysis, contributing to the formulation of correct conclusions for making optimal decisions, as well as issues of scientific organization of work of trainers, teachers and shooters.
