About botanico-geographical specificity of the florae of Valdai hills

The botanico-geographical characteristic of flora of Valdai hills is given. Specific features of flora are revealed. In territory of the Valdai province 886 species and 145 microspecies of vascular plants are registered. Indicators of specific riches and taxonomy diversion for flora of the south of Valdai hills more than similar characteristics of flora of its northern part. The problem of floristic division into districts of territory on the basis of system of physicogeographical units is discussed. Florae of physicogeographical areas of Valdai hills are characterized by rather high similarity of specific structure. Correlation communications between florae of northeast areas of a southern part more than communications in group of southwest areas that is caused by a considerable originality of flora of Verhnemstinsky area. The grouping of southwest and northeast areas in larger chorions, in which limits probably allocation of units more a low rank, physicogeographical areas corresponding to borders is expedient.
