About federal character of the Austro-Hungarian agreement 1867

On the basis of the new, detailed analysis of constitutional Agreement 1867 and studying of official estimations of the government of imperial Austria, the conclusion is drawn on character of the state-territorial device Austro-Hungary. This double union is defined as a federal monarchy. The main features and signs of the Austrian imperial federalism are revealed.
