On the indicators system formation to measure the human capital of the older generations in terms of its saving and use

The article explores existing international and national approaches and systems ofindicators, describing, on the one hand, the current and prospective situation of thesenior population, and, on the other, - a set of indices and indicators describing thecategory of human capital. We analyzed them and proposed our version of humancapital estimation of the older generations in terms of its saving and use. The latter,as it seems to us, should include such blocks as “health and longevity”, “access toeducation”, “a decent standard of living”, “extension of working life / longer workinglife”, “intergenerational ties”. In addition, the “participation in public life” block,reflecting the out-of-service activity of senior population, should be included intothe evaluation system.
