On the depth of insolvency: the reality and paradoxes of bankruptcy

This article examines the existing ideas about the methodology offinancial analysis of legal entities activities during economic examinations, summarizes the results of the impact of changes in certain indicators on the economic stability of the organization; assesses the impact of certain groups of indicators on the overall results of the study of the level of insolvency (bankruptcy); presents a number of considerations regarding the use of component analysis in the development of models for assessing the depth of insolvency. Based on regulatory documents and practical recommendations, the author offers a special methodological approach to assessing and monitoring the level of financial stability of an organization. When constructing the methodology for studying the level of depth of an organization's insolvency (bankruptcy), a systematic approach, a functional approach, a practice-oriented approach, and a problem-oriented approach were applied.
